1. This is me with an Otter, probably at Saigon, some time in 1965.
2.Caribou CV2. I worked mainly on this plane.
3. Main gate at Vung Tau. These are some of the first combat troops that came in and were going on some kind of walkaround.
4. Flight line at Tan-son-nut Airport with Caribou (dark), Air Force 123's (silver) and a Huey hovering.
5. I am standing by the barracks. Inside the sandbags there were steel conex boxes with PSP over the top
6. South Vietnamese soldier. He wanted me to take his picture. I don't remember his name.
7. Stan Kubin from Texas. He was with the 61st Aviation Co. I went to school with him at Ft. Rucker, then was shipped to Ft. Knox the same time he was.
8. UH1B helicopter at Back Beach, Vung Tau
9. Otter we were putting together at Tan-son-nut. They arrived with wings off and we serviced them.
10. A load of bombs that were being loaded on Douglas Skyraiders for the South Vietnamese Air Force. I saw Lin Cao Ky, Vietnamese general or president taxiing out in a Skyraider with a load of bombs. He was supposed to be a good pilot.
11. Parking lot at airport main terminal in Saigon.
12. This river in Saigon goes to the ocean. Big ships docked there, offloading equipment. While I was in Saigon living at a hotel they threw hand grenades over the side once in awhile to discourage divers from putting mines and bombs under the hulls.
13. A street in Saigon.
